Our Story
We are small show hobby breeders, located in Southern California in the Irvine/Lake Forest area.
2010 - The Very Beginning
Early 2010, we brought home our first chinchilla. We quickly fell in love with their playful and adorable personality.
2012 - Getting Started
We attended our first ECBC educational field day and decided to start breeding high quality chinchillas by adding a few high quality breeders from DarkStar and Shoots Ranch.
2014 - ECBC and Shows
We became proud members of Empress Chinchilla Breeders Cooperative (ECBC). We have been actively showing chinchillas since 2014. We have done well with a few Grand Show Champion awards and many first place chinchillas.
2016 - Awards and Recognition
At ECBC 2016 National Show in Ventura, we are very proud of our three black velvets are awarded with Grand Show Champion, Reserved Grand Show Champion and 3rd best of the show and many of our standards grey are awarded with first place or higher. It has been an exciting journey for us and our herd. We look forward to continuing to breed and improve chinchillas quality in conformation, size, and clarity on the show tables.
2017 - Chinchilla Nursery Room
This nursey room is ideal for our small size herd that our chinchillas can have unlimited dust baths weekly. The room is designed for good ventilation and a quite husbandry.
2018 - Second Place Breeder Aware at California Sanction Show
We won a 2nd place Breeder Award at 2018 California Sanction Show at Ventura. The show was fun and very competitive.
2019-2020 - Trainee Judge Journey Begins
Jinn was a trainee judges at ECBC California show and ECBC Colorado show.
2021 - Raising chinchillas as a family
Our son enjoys caring the chinchillas. Our chinchillas are used to have kids and dog around them.
